So It Begins…

And so begins the long and arduous journey redesigning the site and building it in ExpressionEngine. Alas, poor Wordpress, I knew you well, but although it’s a wonderful program that I have implemented (and continue to implement) many times for friends, family, and clients, its abilities fall short of what I need it do for the rest of the site. Not sure yet when we’ll have time to finish the whole thing, but hopefully the holidays will afford a little time to crank on it. Stay tuned for big things to come!

Change Is In The Air

It’s been more than a year since Transit has been officially open for business, and things have been going great! There have been new clients and return clients, new and different projects and challenges, and much learning along the way. But even more changes are in store for this next part of the journey. Being More than Just a Design Firm

In the pursuit of being a famous designer and making the big bucks, many designers (and firms for that matter) often forget about the bigger picture. They do the work, get paid, and then wait with salivating tongues for the next project they can bill. But we need to concentrate on being more than just a design firm, more than just another cold vendor. (more…)
