Change Is In The Air

It’s been more than a year since Transit has been officially open for business, and things have been going great! There have been new clients and return clients, new and different projects and challenges, and much learning along the way. But even more changes are in store for this next part of the journey.

I recently change day jobs, and am now working for a great design firm here in Boise, one that continually feeds me creatively, so the emphasis on new business has declined dramatically. So with the extra time I have now that I’m no longer chasing leads, I’ve decided to reorganize things a bit. I’ve decided that I want to put an even greater emphasis on Transit being a resource to both clients and peers, professionally and creatively. And I also want to use it as a platform to pursue some creative endeavours of my own simply for enjoyment. So with that in mind I have a plan to consolidate all of my own scattered brands - Creative Dialogue, Lascano Design, The Cosmopolitan Traveler, Through the Looking Glass, and Carrie’s L7 Designs to a certain extent - and associate them under the Transit umbrella. Nothing will change much for those things, except that they will be more associate with the Transit brand. The idea is to become more of a creative incubator inspirational creative projects of my own, things to make and do and sell and share with the community.

In doing all that, I have plans for revamping this website as well with a new design built using the fabulous Expression Engine platform. There will be more emphasis on the blog and on the resources I want to share, as well as showing recent work for clients and otherwise. Not sure when all of this is going to happen, but hopefully sometime soon. So stay tuned for big things to come!
